Teaching is Terrific – Thrive at Home or Go Forth Globally!
CGE provides strategic opportunities for faculty from our stateside members to go overseas to participate in short-term teaching and training experiences, workshops, lecture series, conferences or for longer term sabbatical experiences. The short term experiences are coordinated through a new database called Educational Expert Exchange (EdEX). The longer term opportunities can be found by sending an email to info@cgedu.org and asking for the list of university partners in the country(ies) of interest.
CGE provides exciting teaching and research opportunities for our overseas CGE members and national colleagues to come to our Member campuses. CGE has an Exchange Visitor Professor category for Faculty and graduate level positions that provide a J-1 visa from 6 months to 5 years. CGE’s shorter term Short Term Scholar opportunity for faculty and research level programs that provide J-1 visas for 3 weeks to 6 months.
CGE networks include many partner universities, colleges, and K-12 schools who would like to recruit faculty and teachers from graduates of our stateside campuses. The Teach Abroad program helps match those who want to teach overseas with an overseas location.
