Mississippi College student, Claire Schrader, shares photos and briefly reflects on her time in Buenos Aires, Argentina studying abroad with CGE CAPA for the Spring 2018 semester.
Hola,
I have just returned from my incredible semester in Buenos Aires, and wanted to thank you for everything! It was the most amazing semester of my life, and I was blessed with so many great opportunities I could have never imagined. I had an internship with Fundación Brincar por un autismo feliz (Brincar Foundation for a Happy Life with Autism), and had the chance to work with children and adults with autism, as well as to develop a sibling program for the foundation. I thoroughly enjoyed my classes, especially the class that corresponded with my internship, and got to volunteer in several different settings, including a therapeutic tango class. I know all of these experiences will stay with me for life, and I’m thankful for CGE’s help getting me there!!
I’m attaching a few photos from my time there. The first group photo is from a trip some fellow study abroad students and I took to the Casa Rosada (their White House), in the press conference room. I also included a picture of the press conference room, it’s pretty beautiful! The next photo is of me with my group of siblings and volunteers from one of my sibling workshops with Brincar. The last photo is of some friends and I at the beautiful Rose Garden in Palermo.
Thank you again, so very much.
God bless,
Claire
